I recently attended the Future of Global Business Conference at Georgetown University McDonough School of Business, which was a fascinating melting pot of ideas with a stellar lineup of experts dissecting trends in finance, globalization, supply chains, and, what I was particularly interested in, artificial intelligence (AI) in business.

The discussions around global business trends included a healthy blend of optimism with a dash of existential dread (the good kind, if there is such a thing). Here were a few of my takeaways from the panels, served with a sprinkle of dry humor, because let’s face it, we could all use a laugh when contemplating our dystopian future:
